Plot[]
An innocent girl alone in her room finds herself awoken by her doll, who calls the girl her mommy. Speaking to her as if it possessed a mind of its own. The doll warns her of a dangerous monster called the Boogeyman that has come to take her away. The girl feels as if she is in a dream… but all feels too real as the inhumanly long fingernails begin to creep around the closet door.
Quickly doing as the doll says and grabbing a flashlight, the girl watches and waits in her bed for what is to come. The girl funds off the Boogeyman (who tries to enter the room through the window, door, tent, closet, and vent) using her flashlight, while having to periodically recharge her flashlight's batteries. The doll gives her more advice on how to survive against the Boogeyman and during one night, gives her some flares that will allow her to see the Boogeyman more easily. On later nights, the girl's dog enters the room and joins the girl on her bed. The dog helps alert the girl of the Boogeyman should he try to emerge from under the bed. After the final night, the doll claims that the Boogeyman won't return after another 100 moons pass and that she must leave as well. The doll then becomes an ordinary doll again.
